🌾 Sprouted Ragi & Bajra Flours for Everyday Wellness
Swadesi Way’s Sprouted Flours Combo brings you the best of sprouted millets — Ragi (Finger Millet) and Bajra (Pearl Millet) — made from organically grown grains sourced from 500 tribal farmers in Sittilingi Valley, Tamil Nadu. Sprouting enhances the nutritional profile of these grains, increasing vitamins, minerals, and making them easier to digest with a uniquely rich, earthy flavor. Versatile and wholesome, these flours are perfect for everyday Indian dishes like rotis, dosas, porridges, puttu, and more.
Farm to Plate Journey
Sourced from Sittilingi Valley Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited (SOFPC) — a collective of 500 tribal farmers supported by The Tribal Health Initiative, which has been empowering the community for over three decades. SOFPC promotes sustainable farming by encouraging farmers to grow a mix of paddy, millets, and vegetables while ensuring fair incomes through above-market procurement prices. The millets are harvested, cleaned, sprouted, solar-dried, lightly roasted, and stone-milled — all by local women — before being packaged with care to lock in freshness and nutrition.
