Sprouted Bajra Flour for Wholesome Health
Swadesi Way’s Sprouted Bajra Flour (Sprouted Pearl Millet Flour) is made from organically grown whole millets sourced from 500 tribal farmers in Sittilingi Valley, Tamil Nadu. The grains are sprouted, solar-dried, lightly roasted, and stone-milled to preserve their rich nutrition and earthy, nutty flavor. Packed with vitamin B, fiber, and protein, it’s excellent for managing weight, stabilizing cholesterol, and supporting metabolism — a versatile choice for rotis, porridge, and other nourishing dishes.
Farm to Plate Journey
Sourced from Sittilingi Valley Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited (SOFPC) — a collective of 500 tribal farmers supported by The Tribal Health Initiative, working in the community for over three decades. SOFPC promotes sustainable farming by encouraging farmers to cultivate a mix of paddy, millets, and vegetables while ensuring fair incomes through above-market procurement prices. The bajra is harvested, cleaned, sprouted, solar-dried, mildly roasted, and stone-milled — all by local women — before being packaged with care to lock in freshness and nutrition.
