Bansi wheat flour is an indigenous Indian variety with lower glycemic index than hybrid wheat varieties.
It contains complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and a moderate amount of proteins, thus improves gut, digestion, metabolism and reduces chronic inflammation.
Our farmers are a dynamic force in our mission. Our flour is sourced from Ekta FPO near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It’s a collective of 650 women farmers committed to organic farming. They are certified by PGS Organic and Supported by Shramik Bharti, an NGO focusing on organic farming, health, nutrition, and women’s empowerment.Â
The farmers come together in small groups of 10-15 members and support each other with skills, knowledge, and resources, receiving valuable training from the FPO. These women embody the essence of sustainable farming and dedication to quality.
The journey of our Bansi wheat flour begins with the united efforts of 650 women farmers from a cluster of villages near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, supported by Ekta FPO.Â
When the wheat harvest season arrives, the FPO purchases their crops, and stores them in dedicated mini warehouses.Â
Our wheat supply comes directly from the FPO every month, ensuring freshness and nutritional quality. The wheat is then carefully stone-ground at a slow speed to preserve maximum nutrition.
At last, we package it in ziplock pouches, extending its shelf life and preserving its freshness, so you can relish every meal with confidence in the quality we stand for.
